Day Services

At Cygnet Social Care , we operate two specialist Day Services, located in Sheffield and Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire.

Both centres are designed to enhance the quality of life for individuals with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability, as well as those with autism, complex health needs, physical disabilities, and communication difficulties. Our dedicated approach ensures we support people requiring specialist interventions like PEG/NG feeding and wheelchair users.

Our care model is centred around a strong Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) who co-produce personalised activity plans to maximise each individual’s potential, focusing on clear outcomes while respecting their unique likes, dislikes, and comfort zones. We maintain a high level of support with a minimum staffing ratio of one member of staff for every two individuals.

Our Day Services boast exceptional facilities designed to meet a wide range of sensory and developmental needs. These include multiple sensory rooms, dedicated arts and crafts areas, IT facilities, and hydrotherapy pools with hoists. Crucially, we promote active engagement with the wider world. We provide dedicated transport for regular trips, enabling strong community integration and participation in various social activities. To provide flexibility for families and carers, our services are open throughout the week, Monday to Friday.
