Matthew Gill is Director of Psychology Services for the North Region at Cygnet Health Care where he leads psychological services across a wide range of specialist mental health and rehabilitation settings.
An experienced forensic psychologist and senior clinical leader, Matt has more than 15 years’ experience working within secure, rehabilitation and complex mental health services.
Before joining Cygnet, Matt held senior roles at CAS Behavioural Health and The Cambian Group where he worked as Psychology Service Lead for Male Rehabilitation Services and as a Forensic Psychologist and Service Lead for Adult Male Rehabilitation Services. He joined Cygnet in 2017 as Director of Psychology Services for the Midlands before progressing to his current regional leadership role.
Matt holds an MSc in Forensic Psychology from Coventry University and is passionate about delivering evidence-based, recovery-focused care while supporting the development of high-performing multidisciplinary teams. He is also a strong advocate for compassionate leadership.
