Courtney Greene is the Head of Occupational Therapy (OT) at Cygnet Hospital Woking and our Regional Lead for OT in the south of England.
After graduating from the University of Cape Town in 2014, Courtney began working for a private mental health group specialising in dual diagnosis and adolescent services.
Courtney moved over to the UK to work for Cygnet in 2019, starting at Cygnet Hospital Taunton. Over this time Courtney gained specific skills working across acute mental health and learning disability services.
In May 2021, Courtney joined Woking as Deputy Head of Occupational Therapy and in September 2021, Courtney was appointed Head of Occupational Therapy to provide leadership to and management of the OT department at Cygnet Hospital Woking and Cygnet Lodge Woking. In 2022 Courtney was appointed Regional Occupational Therapy Lead to provide clinical support for Cygnet services in London and South East London.
Courtney is passionate about training others, starting an Occupational Therapy Assistant development training programme and B5 Occupational Therapy development programme which both offer monthly online training sessions for CPD.
Courtney can offer expert advice on a variety of topics including sleep management issues, relaxation techniques, and stress management.
