Meet the Team
Lori Sutherland - Service Manager
Lori began her career at Ellen Mhor in 2011 where she started off as a support worker. Throughout the years, Lori gained SVQ qualifications which allowed promotions to become a senior support worker and then on to team leader. Lori was later promoted to become deputy manager of Ellen Mhor in 2019, where she remained in the position for just over 1 year.
In 2021, Lori then chose to venture into a different part of the care sector - working with children and young people living in residential care - however chose to remain working in Ellen Mhor as a bank support worker. Although Lori enjoyed her time working with children and young people, she decided that her heart lay with Ellen Mhor and soon returned as deputy manager in 2022.
Since her return to Ellen Mhor, Lori is now a qualified Positive Behaviour Support coach and aims to support Ellen Mhor – and any other services – to implement and understand the purpose and benefits of Positive Behaviour Support. Lori has a high passion for providing the best possible care for all individuals and aims to ensure they have a high quality of life.
