Meet the Team

Amardip Prihar - Hospital Manager
Ama began her mental health career in 2003 as a Health Care Support Worker, working with women in medium secure services. She completed an MA in Social Work in 2011 and began practicing as a Mental Health Social Worker.
She has extensive inpatient and community experience, working with children, young people, adults, and older adults. Her inpatient work includes low/medium secure services, patient intensive care units, acute wards, and rehabilitation wards. In the community, she has worked with Early Intervention Services, Assertive Outreach Teams, Community Mental Health Teams, and Crisis Resolution Home Treatment teams.
Since 2015, Ama has undertaken operational management roles within Community Mental Health Teams, inpatient Forensic Services, and Mental Health Rehabilitation Services, encompassing both inpatient and community settings.
Ama is looking forward to meeting all the staff at Cygnet Kenney House and to the opening of the service. She is very excited about this prospect and welcomes all stakeholders to the Cygnet Kenney House service. Together with other team members, she will ensure the service provides safe, effective, and high-quality care, empowering and enabling women on their mental health recovery journey.

Sacha Barnes - Clinical Manager
Sacha qualified as mental health nurse in 2011, from Leeds Metropolitan University. Sacha joined Cygnet at the end of 2011 as a Staff Nurse, and has worked in various roles including Staff Nurse, Clinical Team Leader, Ward Manager, Clinical Manager and Hospital Manager. Sacha has gained experience across a variety of services, including Low Secure, Older Adults, PICU, Acute and Rehabilitation.
Sacha joined Cygnet Kenney House as Clinical Manager in April 2024, and has led on the development and opening of the service.
Sacha is passionate about providing high quality care, leading new initiatives to improve care, reducing restrictive practice, and supporting staff well-being and development.

Tolulope Akor - Ward Manager, Harben Ward
Tolu is a Registered Mental Health Nurse and has worked in various roles since joining Cygnet in March 2021. These have included a senior support worker, Staff Nurse, Clinical Team Leader and Acting Ward Manager. Tolu joined Cygnet Kenney House in August 2024 after successfully securing the post of Ward Manager.
Tolu strives to build a great experience using a recovery model which focuses on person-centered care and supporting staff well-being and development.

Carole Martinucci - Social Worker
Carole was educated in America where she earned two Master’s Degrees in Clinical Psychology and Social Work. Her career has spanned over 25 years in psychiatric services holding various positions including Team Manager, Director of Psychiatric Services, and Expert Witness.
Moving to the UK provided the opportunity for greater challenges and professional growth. After working in both the private and public sector, Carole joined Kenney House in June 2024 and has assisted in the training and development of our new staff.
Carole has a passion for helping others on their healing journey and pathway to wellness. She considers her commitment to excellence, delivering exceptional care, and utilising innovative strategies as paramount to individualise treatment and resources so each patient has the tools to accomplish their own, unique goals.
