New floral mural at Cygnet Alders Clinic
Anya Colyer, an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Cygnet Hospital Taunton has recently completed a floral mural for a sensory room at Cygnet Alders Clinic in Gloucester.
Anya, who is also a freelance artist, completed the mural over two days.
Anya said: “The brief called for a calming, low-stimulus environment that would complement the sensory equipment already in the space. To achieve this, I worked with a carefully considered, limited palette of muted, soothing tones. This is designed to support rather than overwhelm the senses.
“It was a privilege to contribute to a space that makes a real difference to the people using it. A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Alders for their warm welcome and for trusting me with this project. I hope our paths cross again soon!”
