Hope House resident visits Headland Carnival
The traditional summer event has been running for almost a century, and every August, the crowds gather for all the fun of the fair. The carnival is packed with fairground rides, candyfloss, live entertainment, stalls, and, best of all, a famous parade with colourful costumes, creativity, and characters, all cheered on by hundreds of people from the local community.
This year, the resident initially dressed as a chicken and then received a cowboy outfit, so he decided to wear both. He had a really good day out.
