Excel and Exceed School’s new ducklings
Cygnet Bury Forestwood would like to introduce you to Shelby, Smokey, Scrooge McDuck and Dennis, our new pet ducklings, which hatched right here on site in our Excel and Exceed Centre!
The purpose of the ducklings are to teach our young people about animal care and give them the experience of caring for animals whilst here at Forestwood
Having the ducklings in the classroom encourage the young people to attend lessons more and give them an experience in school which they otherwise wouldn’t have.
There is also the therapeutic aspect, it’s always a good experience to cuddle a cute duck!
